Introduction
The 3rd International Conference on Exotic Nuclei and Atomic Masses, ENAM2001, will be held in Aulanko near the city of Hämeenlinna, Finland on 2-7 July 2001. The Aulanko natural park is in southern Finland, 100 km north of Helsinki. The site follows the tradition of the ENAM conferences and is surrounded by some of Finland's most beautiful nature, lakes and forests. The second circular containing detailed information and a call for contributions will be mailed in early 2001.

Scope of the Conference
The programme will consist of invited review talks on major developments in the area of exotic nuclei and atomic masses, plus selected oral and poster contributions on important experimental and theoretical topics.
Fields to be covered include:

• Atomic masses and fundamental constants

• Fission

• Moments and radii

• Heaviest elements

• Forms of radioactivity

• Fundamental symmetries and interactions

• Direct reactions and nuclear spectroscopy

• Nuclear astrophysics

• Nuclei at the drip lines

• Experimental developments

• Cluster phenomena

• Traps for radioactive isotopes

• Nuclear structure and shapes

• Applications of exotic nuclei
